The Penzance Arts Club plays host to a myriad of events each week. Exhibitions, life drawing sessions, lectures, poetry readings and live music featuring jazz, blues and folk
all meet under the same roof.
In addition the Club is always available for private hire
to Members for appropriate events and functions. Three day writing and drawing courses also take place throughout the year.

August 2010

Regular weekly events throughout the year.
Tuesdays: Life Drawing. An untutored session with mixed poses, 7-9pm. £4 Members, £5 Non-members.
Wednesdays: Salsa. A tutored session for beginners, intermediate and experienced devotees. 8-11pm. £4 admission.
Thursdays: Café Frug. A bi-weekly open poetry evening with occasional musical accompaniment, hosted by Bob Devereux.To confirm this event, please call Bob's Gallery on 01736 795 003. Café Frug will be on Thursday 19th August, 9pm.
Sundays: Sunday Lunch by reservation only for members and non-members. Please see our Dining Room page for more details. To book, please call the office by no later than Saturday 2pm to confirm your booking. Children welcome, 1:30-3:30pm in the bar or garden.

New events for August.
Rod Walker's High Summer Exhibition. We encourage all members and their friends to come and see Rod's paintings, a selection from the last few years' work, which are brightening up the foyer and bar. Open from 9am - midnight.
Saturday 27th: Shack Up! DJs Tim & Roger get the bank holiday weekend off to a deep down and dirty start on Friday night with their enviable record collections.Yes, Selectas! Free to members, £3 non-members.
